This month’s Serving the Arts 2024 Awards Ceremony brought together arts patrons, elected officials, business leaders, and arts enthusiasts for an inspiring morning dedicated to celebrating the cultural community and to recognize and honor those who play a vital role in sustaining a lively and flourishing arts community.
A4L’s Executive Director, Sheila Womble, received the Arts Management Excellence Award, accepted on her behalf by our Program Director Ivy Bennett. The Arts Management Excellence Award recognizes outstanding achievement in the management of a local arts organization by a director or a management team. This prestigious award honors Sheila’s achievement in growing and sustaining Arts for Learning.
