Arts for Learning ignites the creative spark by bringing Teaching Artists to after-school programs at select Miami-Dade County Public Schools, parks, and community centers during the school year. With the guidance of these professional actors, directors, producers, dancers, choreographers, musicians, authors, poets, storytellers, and visual artists, students embark on a journey of exploring ideas and bringing concepts to life through their own artistic expressions. A4L after school programs go beyond learning an artistic skill; they encourage imagination. While creating works of art, students discover the power of critical thinking, problem-solving, collaboration and effective communication.
