Finlay End Of Year Show
It’s an end of school year celebration for students in our A4L After-school program, at Dr. Carlos J. Finlay Elementary! On May 17th, we had 79 students, ranging from kindergarten to 5th grade, take to the stage to perform for family and friends, celebrating the culmination of a successful school year.
Students performed to songs such as, Coda Supercala, Yakety Yak Coda, Way of the Water, and Sticks Dance, while incorporating fun props including sea life, fabric fans, wooden sticks, aprons and more!
Since January, students worked with A4L Teaching Artists Kamaria Dailey (Dance) and Lauren Gaspard (Theater) on choreography and blocking to bring these performances to life.
