About the Program (Please read carefully) :
Arts for Learning (A4L)’s ArtWorks program is a six-week paid internship in the arts. Interns will work alongside a Master Teaching Artist (MTA) in an artistic co-op of their choice to create works of art, while learning key workforce development skills. This summer, we are returning to in person programming, ALL CO-OPS WILL BE IN PERSON.

Compensation:
Interns will be paid $10.00/hour. Interns will receive payment for up to 180 hours of work during the six-week program. Interns will also participate in college advisement and goal setting workshops.

Eligibility & Qualifications:
For current 9th – 12th graders only
Must be at least 14 years old
Must be a Florida resident and meet I9 work eligibility requirements, non-residents may receive community service hours

No prior arts experience is necessary, but applicants should have a strong interest in the arts and a willingness to learn in a diverse setting.

Internship Schedule:
June 16 – July 29, 2022
*There is no work scheduled on June 20th and July 4th in observance of Juneteenth and Independence Day.
