Hired to Create. Inspired to Succeed.

“ArtWorks was very helpful to me as I prepared to enter my senior year…I learned to network and communicate with all kinds of people. As an artist, ArtWorks helped me to come out of my shell and yearn to experience new things.”

“I have grown personally and professionally. Preparing for and performing in our showcase was amazing. After the show, my mom had tears in her eyes and it made me feel so warm when she stated, ‘I am so proud of you, you really have grown.’ Those words meant everything to me.”

“In the beginning of the program, I was shy and I lacked self-confidence and passion for what I produced. This program has enriched my communication skills, confidence and motivation. I am definitely not the same person I was when I first came, I’m better.”

“On the first day I was terrified, and now I feel that I have been here forever. I really don’t want it to end. Every moment here has changed me and made me more confident and a more comfortable person.”

“The overall experience was amazing. I loved collaborating not only with other visual artists but with the other Co-ops too.”

“I loved being in the program because I learned more about myself, my art and skills such as communication, risk taking, and professionalism.”

“I’ve come out of my shell and allowed myself to take chances. This program is something that I feel will help me in the future. This program has not only helped me academically, but outside of this, I now have friends and supporters that encourage me and help me find my way.”
