COVID-19: Keeping You Informed
Dear Friends,
Arts for Learning remains vigilant in monitoring the news around COVID-19 and actively follows the directions of Miami-Dade County Public Schools, Miami-Dade County, and our partners.
As always, the health and safety of our staff, artists, students, teachers, and their families is a top priority.
The Arts for Learning administrative office has implemented a remote work policy. Occasionally, some team members will be in the office carrying out essential finance and operations activities. All staff are available remotely during normal business hours, Monday – Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM.
Please be aware that many of the A4L staff have young children and therefore, like many in our community, they will be balancing work with homeschooling and caretaking activities. We ask that you please be patient and know that our team will respond in a timely manner.
At this time, all A4L afterschool, preschool, internship and Saturday programs are taking place virtually. We will continue to work with the schools and our partners to adapt our programs in accordance with our partners’ and students’ needs, and as allowed by public health restrictions.
We know the power of the arts to lift, engage, and heal.
While there are many resources available during this time, Miami-Dade County Public Schools has a comprehensive listing of resources and accurate updates to help keep you informed and safe.
