2016 Young Audiences Arts for Learning national
arts-in-education conference in Miami!
The conference, Growing up with the Arts, will be held on
April 14 -16, 2016 at the
Eden Roc Resort in Miami Beach.Proposals for breakout sessions that highlight best practices here in South Florida as well as from around the country are currently being accepted.

The deadline to submit is 5:00 PM on December 1, 2015
High Priority Session Topics Include:
Collaboration with community partners at the arts, education and civic level
The role of the arts in inclusion practices
Successful STEAM programs and partnerships
Youth arts programs in alternative settings
Impact of arts-integration both in and out of the classroom
Effective uses of arts and new media and technology
Preference will be given to those sessions that incorporate ways that participants can walk away with concrete ideas for practical application and/or replication of great ideas.South Florida has exemplary arts programs that engage our youth.
